The work will see circa 1500 metres of rail replaced and 730 metres of new conductor rail and an additional 4000 meters of new signalling and telecom cables installed.
The works will take place for nine days between the 24th August and the 1st September. During this period there will be no Southern services at Birkbeck and Beckenham Junction in Bromley. There will be no Southern or Overground services from Crystal Palace station between the 24th August and the 26th August. Additionally, there will be no Southern services to or from Crystal Palace on the 31st August and 1st September.
