Our local parks, open spaces and green belt is a big reason why people why to live in Bexley and Bromley. It helps keep our air clean, supports biodiversity, keep our area beautiful and, contribute towards making communities across Bexley and Bromley so special.

 

Thomas will work with Councillors and MPs to protect these vital spaces from overdevelopment.

 

As Executive Assistant for Environment on Bromley Council, Thomas was responsible for deliver a multi-million pound improvement into one of Bromley’s flagship parks.

Thomas Welcomes £17.75m Crystal Palace Park Restoration

London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley, Thomas Turrell, has welcomed the decision by Bromley Council’s Development Control Committee to unanimously approve planning permission for restoration works to the many historic Victorian features across the park, including the iconic dinosaurs and Italian Terraces. The plans are part of a £17.75m transformation, with works set to commence in 2025.
